Ya, today I busted my butt. I have to get up in the wee hours to take Sue to the airport. No Heat game for me tonight. I'll have to catch the recap in the morning. I don't even want to peek at it, lest I get hooked .......... That would mean little to no sleep. I'm too old for that shit.

It's just a stripe. If you like it, leave it. It's not like anybody put ZR1 badging on it. Congrats on your new ride. Enjoy it.

Howdy!

Have three guys and me cleaning up the nusery at the house. Had a load of soil dumped to work on the plants tomorrow. Today is weed and trim day. We have a big pile and the pickup is scheduled for tomorrow. I'm woking half assed today. That's because I'm sweating my ass off. I actually adjust to the heat pretty well if I stay out in it. But if I am to be honest, I prefer the cool, dehumidified air inside the house. Well, there's work to do.
Later .......

That alligator story from yesterday was pretty popular. The local Fox affilliate did a second longer version of the same story and today the local NBC affilliate called and requested the pictures. I guess it makes a nice filler.

Matt won't get it either.

I sent an email to the local Fox affilliate with the pics this A.M.and a short recap of the events. They sent a camera to the show Sue was working and interviewed her. We sent more pics this afternoon from Sue's cellphone. They gave us about 15 seconds in the news at 06:00 and 10:00 P.M. and mentioned the nursery by name. There's nothing like free good publicity. Now Sue will get calls from our clients saying they saw her on TV. Maybe they'll need some work done. I declined an interview with the reporter and pawned it off on Sue. I'm camera shy. They would have had to interview me without my head in the shot. I'm a behind the scenes type of guy.

I like the front spoiler. I'm not much of a wing man. The crunch factor is my main concern. It will happen. Only when is the question. I have a brand new set I bought about two years ago and they're sitting in my shed. I'd better put it on the list.

Only in SoFlo. Just got a call from a neighbor. They said there is a alligator on the swale down by the nursery. It might belong to one of the other neighbors, so we called and told them to see if it's one of theirs.
Sue is working a booth at the fruit festival today. She brought about 30 avocados from our tree and sold them all for a buck a piece. She's also selling fruit trees of all kinds there. I just picked another 60 or so avacados that she's taking today. Free money for us. She's also cleaning mangos by the bag and freezing them for use throughout the year.
My right knee is acting up. A nerve is slipping and pinching in the joint. It's intermittent. Just another thing to screw me up. Might have to wrap it up. Maybe put some menthol compund on it. I'll smell like my age today.

We have two Ariens Zoom 34 zero turns. One for the nurseries and 1 for the house. They have been good to us.

Nice toys. As an underpriviled luxury sportcar owner, I can appreciate the cars your friend has, Bill. Maybe there are some philanthopists out there that would like to donate some late model sportscars or high end boats to my cause. I would be happy to relieve them of their burden.

teebee. Get some interior shots and engine bay shots and you'll be ready for next years car show. That goes for you other guys too. Maybe we could accept photos taken after this recent car show.

Car looks great Tom, as does your new avatar.

I have one black suit. I wear it for anything that requires a suit. I'm not a suit guy. I'm more of a pocket t-shirt and jeans shorts man with hat and sunglasses as needed. Shorts are what I wear 9-10 months out of the year. In Florida there are some guys that don't even own a pair of pants. They just throw on a jacket or waist length coat when it gets cold.

I looked for a suit pic. They're hard to find.

Managed to get 7 hours sleep so I should be good to go for the day. Starting off a little slow as usual. I have to drop off my suit at the cleaners and I'm thinking about going to HF and slide my card on a few items up there. Then there are a couple of hundred things I need to work on around here. My guess is I'll have a full day. Enjoy your day boyz and girlz.

I saw Zeplin perform in 72 and 73 at The Boston Garden. Sneaking stuff was tough as the cops were doing pat downs and there were dogs at the ticket takers. Wrong kind of dogs though. They were more for show. The show was excellent and I was able to get in with what I had tucked in my breifs. I had visited with friends of Timothy Leary before the show so there was a cosmic effect to the experience. We rushed the stage and I was around 12 feet back. I didn't hear anything right for two days after that. They played late into the evening and the trains had to run past the regular hours. They extended the hours for the concert goers. There were many ghouls, goblins and gremlins at the train stations we passed through. The early morning brings out the usually unseen. Ah, the creatures of the night. I was one once.

Your stomach doesn't have a clock. It's time for a dog. Have you met the RDA for sodium nitrate today?

2 nurseries mowed and the lawnmower there is washed. Bck home for round two. Round up weed control. That's good for a few hours. The driveway, fenceline and the grassline around the plantbeds all need it. Doing our major summer outdoor clean up. Want everything looking pretty when company comes next month before the cruise.
